| The
gently shelving beach at Pria da Luz is the ideal spot to relax and enjoy
the tranquility of this part of the Algarve. This view of the beach
at Praia da Luz was taken looking East from the rocks near the Forteleza.
It should be appreciated that this scene depicts the beach in late May
before the Umbrellas go up, You are looking at the Rocha Negra (The
Black Rock). The beach is very clean and is re-cleaned each evening.
Remember that this is the Atlantic and can be cold early in the season.
